| Superior Abrasives was first named Superior Rotary Tools by its founder Herbert E. Cook back in 1962. Established in Dayton, Ohio the company focused on specialty abrasive products such as Cartridge Rolls, Square and Cross Pads. As time passed, we changed our name to Superior Abrasives. This further solidified our reputation as a producer of high quality coated abrasive specialties as well as coated belts. Superior’s biggest breakthrough came in the development of a vast non-woven program as well as fully automated Quick Change and PSA production lines. Through the hard work and dedication of our employees, we’ve grown by leaps and bounds. We’ve built an extensive and loyal distribution base that is second to none. Paul Cook, the son of Herbert Cook, is serving as the active President. Lynne Henson, COO, is overseeing all the daily manufacturing operations for the company. Shane Miller, Executive Vice President, is responsible for all sales and marketing. Although many years have passed since our humble beginnings we have never forgotten where our success comes from, our customers. | |||
